Client:Vaziri Family
Location:Pirbakran, Isfahan, Iran
Date:2019
Following the Vaziri family’s relocation from the United States to Iran, they embarked on the journey of building a new home situated away from the bustling city of Isfahan, near the serene Zayandeh River. The chosen plot of land spanned an area of 2,000 square meters, with local regulations allowing for the construction of a 900-square-meter house. The land earmarked for construction already featured a one-story building with a concrete structure. However, the structure’s low roof height had halted construction progress. While the primary objective was to organize the various functions within the house, the design team sought to cultivate a profound sense of connection and belonging for the Vaziri family within their new home. They aimed to achieve this while also minimizing the need for extensive alterations to the existing concrete structure.
